Hi, I'm Tauqir
The first photo I ever took was at the magnificent Shalimar Gardens in Lahore, Pakistan using a Kodak 110 camera that my father had sent from England. I took a photo of an elderly couple and I still remember the man’s response when I told him I couldn’t send the family photo to his village: “It doesn’t matter.” He just wanted to be remembered. At this moment, a photographer was born. I was ten.
Since then, I’ve worked as a cameraman in the film industry and taken thousands of photos. Yet, each shot still feels as special as that very first photo in the Mughal Gardens.
