For special occasions we want memorable images. I like to work with people to find out what they have in mind and try to achieve what they envisioned, keeping in mind the importance of the day.
Before the nikkah
We went to a ravine trail near the banquet hall for a quick photoshoot. The cloudy day made for a pleasant and soft light. It took couple of hours and we got some great photos.
It's always good to shoot somewhere near the wedding hall and somewhere not so busy. Scouting the location before hand is recommended.
Nikkah
From the moment you step into the venue, we capture the festive moments; walking into the venue, cake cutting, portraits of immediate families, relatives, cousins, and friends... all taking part in the most memorable day of your life.
I like to shoot in a documentary photography style to show the story of the celebration and the families. In addition, getting photos of the venue, food, and lots of guest portraits.
Engagement session
Fatima and Jaan wanted to do an engagement session so we went to the Guildwood Park. It has beautiful relics and makes for a wonderful backdrop. Engagement photos show the dynamic and the energy of the couple in a beautiful setting. Bright clothing is recommended.
